Dining Experience in Cafe Romancon at Hotel Benilde Maison de la Salle

We are giving you a cozy dining suggestion because we are about to leak a good resto find just in Manila and not to mention, a great hotel destination for your staycation. Here's my review about Cafe Romancon located at Hotel Benilde Maison de la Salle.

Situated at the hotel lobby of Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle, the ambiance itself is perfect for family lunch out and friends' free time hangouts! I've been passing uncountable times at this hotel but it was just a recent discovery that they are open to non-lasallian staffs and students. Yes, they are open for everyone who wants to try their dishes!

Taking a look at the kitchen part, it's already dressed up for Christmas yet it still managed to show it's original minimalist white modern style. It is also where buffet dishes are served during lunch!

Soup - This is cream of mushroom which is different from the traditional mushroom soup 'cause you can chew bits of mushroom in every scoop.

Drink - My friends ordered fruit Mango shake while I had watermelon. It's great that they don't extremely grind the watermelon so you still have something to chew.

Salad - We had a crispy kani salad. Yep, they're that fresh!

Appetizer - Our appetizer is buffalo chicken wings with  stir-fried vegetables added with crispy french fries! Even though it took us a long time before we ate our meal (you know blogger duties mean taking lots of photos before eating) but the dishes are still all in good shape and taste!

For our main course, we had salted egg chicken with fries. Their salted egg chicken isn't as salty as the usual salted egg chips and pastas that you find in the mall. It still has that salted egg flavor that you wish but they added up a little more kick of peppery taste.

As for our pasta, we thought that the serving is good for one but it's already good for sharing. Far from the traditional pasta dish, it contains plenty of seafood finds like shrimp!

We also had a huge portion of fish with cream sauce and backribs (both with mashed potatoes), I love the really huge portion of the meats that it's good for sharing if you are coming in groups! If you are visiting here alone, then I suggest that you don't take the whole full course meal 'cause you'll not be able to finish it all!

Dishes are at 150 to 400 pesos each (some are good for sharing already! You can ask some of their staffs if dishes are good for sharing or not. True enough, the dishes were all great and that the huge serving and taste would justify its price!

1. You can check in at Hotel Benilde or you may visit Cafe Romancon if you'd like to try their dishes!
2. Must try items include the salted egg chicken and mushroom soups!
3. They'll be having a Christmas and New Year's eve buffet so don't forget to check on their page: Cafe Romancon
