Casa Belinda: A home away from home in Lipa, Batangas

Planning to take a break from the exhausting fast-phased activities in Manila? Fret not because a home away from home is giving you that break from the noisy work environment. Casa Belinda, Malarayat is just an hour or two away from Manila having this huge oasis situated in Lipa, Batangas.

Accommodations
Casa Belinda has five types of accommodations having a total of seven rooms. Each room gives a different vibe and feels for its design but all of them are totally comforting and aesthetically pleasing. My friend and I occupied one of the biggest rooms! Our room has is divided into four, two bedrooms with two single beds per room, the comfort room, and the living room.

There's a cabinet in our room which I thought is for the guest but it was locked. Nevertheless, there's this cute small baskets to store some of my kits.

I just love how our living room area and bathroom looks like a spa. It's so relaxing and at the same time, very spacious for small night talks while watching TV! They also have a table and chairs if you plan to have a meal or a cup of coffee.

The living room has no aircon but the air-conditioning from our bedroom and the electric fan is enough for ventilation if you plan to stay there and chill. There's a complimentary coffee as well. The only issue in our room is that the wifi no longer reaches our spot so we just enjoyed watching TV after swimming.

Other room types
The second room is connected to the main house wherein there are two queen size beds perfect for four people. Unlike the first room, it has a different accent mostly made of wooden rustic background and a bigger space for the bathroom.

As for the cottage, it is the biggest among the accommodation types and it has two bedrooms good for two pax each, a living room, kitchen and veranda overlooking the farm. What you'll easily notice about this cottage is that the vibe of the place looks like you are in a very cold country due to its fireplace and the overall design of the cottage.

Room types:
Cottage w/ kitchen (good for 4-6 pax)
Deluxe suite (good for 4-6 pax)
Deluxe room (good for 4-6 pax)
guest room (good for 2-3 pax)

Amenities

Parking - Upon entry, you'll be welcomed by this cute cow that you'll think twice if it is actually a real-life cow. Just a few meters away is the covered parking space that's free to use for all the guests.

Farm - Aside from the farmhouse, the highlight of this farm is their plantation. They have fresh lettuce priced at (250 pesos per kilo) if you want to hand pick and bring home for yourself. They also have fresh buko (30 pesos) and the option of having wine for (1,000 pesos) per bottle.

Tree house - I had the chance to enjoy the swing under the tree house. I decided not to go up the treehouse since the stairs going up are quite slippery (It is made of circular steel so I don't recommend that you go up here when you wear plastic slippers.)

Entertainment room - If you are coming with your friends or family members that are fond of videoke, they have a sound system with videoke for you. Not just that, there's billiards and darts as well!

The pool is about 3ft on both sides running 5ft in the middle and is connected to the jacuzzi pool. The water is just warm when we visited but turned a little bit cold at night since the temperature lowers down as well.

The jacuzzi pool is about 2ft deep and has a pretty nice powerful jet perfect for hydrotherapy, relaxation and a cup of wine for a night chill.

Apart from the entertainment and swimming, they have a hammock and rest areas within the property. We enjoyed the hammock as it is located beside the pool so you can relax at the overlooking the farm and the swimming pool on the side.

We enjoyed the colors of the sky when the sunset started to approach. The lights were just enough to keep up with the ambiance of the place.

Here's how the main house and the gazebo looked like when we get dark. For me, I loved better at night for it gives a romantic and serene feel. I was able to spot a few stars and it has a very calming effect.

There's a barbeque area for your grilling needs. You can bring your own food to cook or you can ask their staff to cook for you in a minimal fee for your comfort and convenience.

They have a complimentary breakfast served in a cute English type of breakfast with the all-time favorite Filipino pandesal basket, longganisa, egg and rice. You may also speak with their staffs if you wish some changes on your breakfast. They also served coco jam and peanut butter to compliment with the bread.

You'll also be connected with nature since the whole vicinity is surrounded by trees and some farm animals. They also have an aviary so kids would also enjoy it!
