Chill, dine and play at Book and Borders Cafe

Just a little bit nearby my previous working place in Cubao, we used to walk a lot in this area but never had the chance to try dining until this day that my friend and I got so engrossed to come inside and try the food at the Book and Borders Cafe, Manhattan Parkview.

It's quite impossible that you wouldn't notice this place if you walk pass by the Manhattan Parkview. Even though it is located inside the Araneta Center vicinity, some people don't really see this because it's a usual go-to place if you plan to shop or work like us. It is located next to Gateway Mall and a few blocks away from Savemore. I also love the interiors of the place as it's well lighted, they have plenty of books that you can borrow and board games that you can use while waiting for your order.

At the cafe, we noticed a lot of people either chatting with their friends (like what my friend and I do) and working with their laptops. It is spacious enough to cater to groups of people and individuals with still enough space for privacy not to disturb with the noise of one another. There are available sockets in some areas as well if you need one. Of course, as food bloggers, my friend and I were busy taking photos of the served food.

Since it's our first time here in this cafe, we are not sure of the serving size for every dish and the safest to order are three items from their menu including the chicken parmigiana, fish and fries and sweet and spicy buffalo wings. All the serving sizes were bigger than what we expected so we hardly breathe to finish them all.

Chicken Parmigiana - 230.00 pesos
Fish and Fries - 210.00 pesos
Buffalo wings (6 pcs) - 270.00 pesos

I have to say that all their dishes are superb in flavors and all of our three orders are rich in flavor and generous in serving. The chicken parmigiana itself would already fill your stomach! As for the fried ones, the dips were both good and the crispiness of the chicken and the fish is good as well! It's not really oily so we were able to finish it.

Ella's Recommendations

1. Since the area is spacious, this is also good for gatherings and events.
2. Book and Borders usually get jam-packed at nights with people who are working and those who no longer want to cook their meals at home so it's best that you visit a little earlier than that.
3. Serving size is good for 1-2 people so check it first before ordering a lot!
